1995 Ford Taurus popping noise when turning steering wheel

1995 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

there is a rather loud popping noise when i turn my steering wheel i had just replaced my driver side hub
and when i put everything back together there was the popping noise

Hello,

What was the reason for replacing the hub assembly?

Could be the CV Axle, is clicking come from same side?

Did you make sure CV Axle was completely seated in the hub.
