Is the O2 sensor on the catalytic converter or is it separate on the exhaust system? How far is the O2 sensor from the cat. con. if they are separated?

bank 1 sensor one before the cat on #1 cylinder side
bank 1 sensor two after the catalytic converter on # 1 cylinder side
bank 2 sensor one before the catalytic converter on the other side of the engine cylinders # 4,5,6
bank 2 sensor two after the catalytic converter
