Heater problem
1995 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 110k miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
i am having trouble with my 95 taurus, it blows hot air full time through the defrost vents no matter which position the knob is at. ive read some other forums online with similar problems, seems to be most commonly a vacuum problem. but- where do i start, what do i look for?
thnx for your time.

Classic symptom of a vacuum problem.. defaults to defrost mode.. get a Chilton manual, or similiar, to help you pull the heater controls out to inspect all tubes and electrical.. you can look up under the dash as much as possible, make sure no loose vacuum lines can be seen also outside chance a vacuum motor has failed.
