The air conditioning system runs great for about 20 minutes, then will stop cooling then start up cooling again ever 15 minutes or so, more often when the temp is above 75 degrees. Am I looking at recharging or possible compressor issues ? In fact, on a very hot day this summer, there was a huge rain storm and with my windows closed, the windshield fogged up with the air conditioner on.

Well with know what the pressures are doing it is hard to say what is really happening. It could be the compressor or the low pressure switch or the high pressure switch, fixed orfice tube or maybe the a/c clutch or the constant control relay. So I will need some info before I can really help. I really need to know what the A/C pressures are when the a/c it is on, and it would be nice to know how quickly the pressures equalize when it turned off. Hope this helps.
