1994 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 141000 miles

I have a 1994 Ford Taurus with what seems to be the same symptoms as yours. During initial start and run it runs great. When reaches operating temp, it wants to shift out of gear when I come to a stop. I changed the VSS. No change. I,m beginning to believe that the fluid is not cooling properly in the radiator and it gets to hot. When the fluid get to hot, the PCM tells the trans to shut down for protection. This is what I think the problem is. I plan to change the radiator soon to see if it will cool the fluid properly. If you find something different, email me at rickyticky01@hotmail.com. Thanks Ricky
