TRANSMISSION WONT GO INTO 2, 3, OR 4TH GEAR WHERE IS THE SOLENOID IN THE SIDE PAN AND HOW DO YOU REPLACE IT

I'm assuming since you don't know where what you're looking for is, possibly someone told you there is one solenoid that does all what you posted? What you should do first is scan your pcm with a obdI scan tool, about 30 bucks or so, to see what codes are stored in the hard memory. Most trans codes on these cars WILL not turn on the check engine light, yet will be stored. Very useful tool to have best 30 you'll spend, if the trans will not shift when commanded to do so, usually some code will be stored. I'm not a trans man, but I believe there are at least three(3) shift solenoids, internally, in the ax4s trans, I believe the same for the ax4n trans. Is this the original trans? What model, ax4s or ax4n?
