Transmission problem
1994 Ford Taurus 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Hi i just purchased a 94 ford taurus 4months ago and it has been running fine until a month ago, the car started to jurk when i come to a complete stop, and when i start to excelrate it feels like it is slipping. I went to autozone and they checked my trans fluid and the said it was black , like it was burned. I asked a friend of mine that works on cars if i need the trans flushed, but he said that with miles on the car it might not be a good idea, he said that the trans might break down or blow up. I dont understand, the car has over 124,000 miles on it. If you can help me and maybe give me some option on what to do and maybe some prices on how much the jobs might cost.
