1993 Ford Taurus will not shift

I had a rebuilt trans. installed 6 months ago and was working good, I only have 2000 miles on it and now it will not shift out of 1st. or low gear. I have changed the vehicle speed sensor and checked all fuses and wireing I can not find the problem please HELP, Thanks.

Have you had the system checked for codes? The problem you describe can be caused by several things. Among them are speed sensors, shift solenoids, the PCM, and wiring in between. Before you proceed, check the electrical connector on the top of the transmission, as it may have come loose or a terminal pushed out of it. After that, check the system for trouble codes.
