Where is the turn signals flasher located?

Car listed above a six-cylinder engine, front wheel drive, automatic transmission.

I'm not able to find where the flasher unit is located.
It's not with fuses there is what looks like a place for it you know it's a round spot that looks like a flasher unit spot but there are no wires with terminals snaped into place and no wires lose. I've looked under the dash for another location to no avail. Please let me know where is located.
