My car starts right up, driving at 50-55 no problem, come to a stop light, and no power, the more I hit the gas, the quicker it stalls, then have to pull over and restart, the longer I wait the longer I can drive, temp is normal, if I stomp on the gas after sitting at light it backfires and die's. sometimes I have to shut the motor off to restart, most times it stalls..what could be causing this. also how do I read the codes on a 93 tarus without the scanner?
