The car with the engine already warm, started but then immediately died. I restarted several times but died immediately when I let off the gas. Then would not start at all for a couple of minutes. It then started, got the car moving by never letting off gas, shilfing to neutral when necessary. After 5 minutes, the car acted normally. I did not have to keep keep on the gas.

What's wrong?

Thank you,
