1993 Ford Taurus All Wheel Drive Automatic ?? miles

i am wondering i cannot get my car to go into reverse but when i do i have to floor it in order to make it move whats my problem??

Have you checked the shifter linkage? Is the trans fluid full? Did it happen all at once? When it doesn move, is the engine reving really high like the trans is slipping?
