Engine Cooling problem
1993 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive

I have a 1993 Ford Taurus Wagon-Everytime I drive it as long as I'm on the excellerator it stay pretty cool but as soon as I start to slow down the gauge starts to move towards Hot.When I turn the car off the gauge goes way up & the water boils out of the reservoir.Even thogh before I drive I make sur theres water & coolant in te reservoir to the line and make sure the radiator has water and coolant .I had a new thermostat put in a few months ago and it ran fine so I don't think it's that. Cpould it be the waterpump?

Check water pump if pushing coolant and circulating through the radiator
if coolant sealer was used may cause a blockage in the system
