1993 Ford Taurus DOESN'T START

Engine Mechanical problem
1993 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The ford taures doesnt start. The engine doesnt crank over. The starter has been checked and is good, new battery. There is power to the car, lights and everything works.

Does it click when trying to start?
Check neutral park switch
and alarm system if any
do you have power to the starter
check ground wire

Ground wire is connected right, no alarm system in the car. I dont know what you mean by check the neutral switch. Has a brand new battery so there is power.

Someone mentioned it is probably the ignition switch, I will most likely be checking that out today.

Neutral safety switch mounted on the tranny prevent engine from starting if not in park and or neutral
check for power at the small wire at starter with key in start position

You should check to see if the solenoid is rusty or the connections are bad. Its located under the hood on the drivers side that may need to be replaced. I had the same thing happen to me on two of my Tauruses/sables over the years; on a 1987 and 1991 model. Its located under the hood on the driver side before the strut tower
