i have a 93 taurus gl. when driving, if you are sometimes pulling a hill or if you just hold the car at a steady rpm, like around 2000-2500, the car kind of develops a high speed miss. some days it will do it, and some days it will not. just wondering if it could be an ignition problem, like a plug wire breaking down, but the wires are fairly new.

Check engine light on? Can be a fuel pump problem too.
