Transmission problem
1993 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

tranny went out, so I pulled it and had it rebuilt by a qualified mechanic, and then reinstalled. After reinstalling the car cuts out and bucks in park and every gear but reverse. Checked for codes and got several transmission codes. Investigated further and found someone had previously messed with the plug and had 2 wires crossed, one of which was a hot. Got the wiring schematic for both sides and now wires are in correct position, and all but 2 codes cleared and still have same problem. Replaced EEC module after following pinpoint test, only to have the transmission codes return, so I put old one back on and still have transmission codes, however these codes varied, but still have same condition. The bucking or serging doe not increase or decrease with engine rpm's or vehicle speed. This has become quite frustrating, time consuming and not to mention more money than I wanted to put into ths car, but now I am more or less at the point of no return. Does anyone know what might be the cause or what I should do next?

I was not aware of it at the time as this is my daughters car and when I asked her she said yes it woul start surging at around 50 to 55 mph and then would quit at around 60 to 65 mph. The codes I am getting now are 621, 622, 624, 628, 634, 639, and 641. They are in same order, SS1 circuit failure, SS2 circuit failure, EPC circuit faiure, excessive converter clutch slippage, MLP voltage + or -, insufficient input from TSS, and SS3 circuit failure.

At the tranny connector it has 10 wires
check red wire for battery volts with key on or when engine running
if no power check the wire back to the constant control relay module located on upper radiator support by the battery side
if wire ok Substitute with a good known relay
and recheck
