1992 Ford Taurus radiator fan relay

Electrical problem
1992 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

cant seem to locate fan relay.

cooling fan does not come on
when i direct wired the fan it works
i am assuming this means the relay is bad

The fan relay is located in the CCM module that is attached to the top of the radiator support. Also, don't overlook the coolant temperature sensor on the engine. Better to spend some time diagnosing than to just start throwing expensive parts at the problem.

Okay, I switched out fan relay, problem fixed. I ran the car, after only about 2 minutes it made a loud clonking noise, I tuned it off... looked under hood, anti free comming out of lower front right of engine, blown head gasket ?
