1987 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

THE CAR DIES GOING DOWN THE ROAD AND WONT START BACK UP UNTIL I PRESS DOWN ON THAT VALVE ON THE FUEL RAIL. THEN IT WILL FIRE RIGHT BACK OFF AND RUN MABIE 30 SECONDS OR UNTIL PRESURE BUILDS BACK UP IN THERE AND I DO IT AGAIN AND IT STARTS RIGHT BACK UP AGAIN. AND SO ON AND SO ON. WHAT COULD BE CAUSEING THAT.

sounds like excessive high fuel pressure if you have to keep releasing it, check the fuel pressure regulator.

you will need a fuel pressure check guage.
