MY CAR HAS STARTED TO STOP RUNNING WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE TOLD THAT IT IS MY CRANK SENSOR. NOW I HAVE PURCHASED IT BUT, WHERE IS IT LOCATED. ALSO IS THIS THE PART THAT WILL STOP MY CAR FROM TURNING OFF WHILE I AM DRIVING.

1986 did not have a crank sensor
What do you have for engine size year and model?

Check for spark, was very common failure
Reason for no spark, spark control module on the side of the distributer fails when engine hot and shut off
