02 Taurus,interior water leak

my 02 taurus has 75k miles and until recently has been trouble free.Everytime I use the a/c water leaks,no flows into the passenger compartment.I did clean the drain valve in the engine compartment,but
that did not eleiminate the problem.Short of removing the IP what else
can I do to try and fix the problem?

water is entering from around the cabin filter under the windshield on the right side. Ford has a fix with a new rubber seal under the cowl. Next the blower motor will fail because of the moisture
