1989 Ford Station Wagon V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I am not mechanically inclined, but I am learning. My problem is my starter or cyliniod. I need to know there location on the car and some details on how to make the repair.

Solenoid is at the fender beside the battery
starter under the car rear of engine
mounted to the bell housing
disconnect the battery and then remove
