I recently replaced the thermostat in my 1998 Ford Ranger 4 Cyl. 126,000 Miles. The engine was running cold and now it runs just right. But the heater will not work. I had the control valve replaced a few months ago and I think the guy may have messed it up. Where is the heater control valve on this thing? Do you think that's the problem?

the valve is located in line with the heater hoses. try flushing out the heater core. remove the heater hoses going to the firewall a gently run water through the core till it runs clear.
