I am looking to install rear speakers in my 98 ranger. Currently the speaker box is empty (way it came from factory?) but there are speaker wires running to it. What size speakers fit and do I need a power amp as well? Also what's the best was to hook them up? Is there a wiring harness out there that snaps into the one already there? Thanks!

Replacing the speakers is no big deal. You can go to Best Buy or Circuit City etc. and they can tell you what size you need and if I'm not mistaken, they can sell the wiring adapter for the speaker. If not, just snip the plug at the end of the factory wiring and splice the speaker wires with a butt end connector or wire nut etc. Shouldnt' be a very big job.
