When warmed up, leaving from a stop, small bump or sometimes 2 at time off movement. Trans has been serviced and seems to operate properly other than that issue. When it is quite cold, it does not occur until drive line gets warm. Also, truck has 4.10 poss. Rears. U joints are ok. Thank You for your time, Sam

Hello !

Check the main Positive Cable all the way from the batt. To the starter.
Also check the connectors (both) and clean the bat. Terminals be sure that they are making a clean solid contact, check the ground (negative) cable to the chassis and to the engine be sure that it has a good connection.

The "click" its just the solenoid the motor has no power to start. (Or the solenoid its not closing that contact)

you can try to "feed" the positive directly to the starter but first check all the connections.

Let Us Know after you check this.

We`ll wait for you.

Good Luck!

Appreciate your help. Rechecked cable security. Negative connector was loose at battery.(Duh). Up and running again and saved $1100 for possible eng replace. Thought eng had locked up.
