We have a 2005 Ford Ranger with the check engine light flashing. We changed the oil, plugs and wires and the light went off for a day. It still runs rough and the A/C runs but does not cool all the time. Any suggestions where to begin?

After changing plugs, wires, oil, oil and air filter, our 05 Ford Ranger was still running rough and getting P0300's codes. Since not all were malfunctioning we decided to try replacing the coil. When we replaced the coil we noticed the firing order was different. We installed it and the truck runs great so far! We bought the truck from a fleet and its last tuneup was done by the Ford Dealership at 210,000 miles (215,000 now). P.S. Thank you rasmataz for responding.
