There's an old rule in the business. "If it works, don't fix it." I'm sure this isn't what you wanted to hear, but without any stored codes, all we can do is guess. And our guessing can get expensive on your part. One thing I can say is in the early to mid '00 Ford Rangers, we've had a rash of intermitent crankshaft position sensor faiures, CPS. It could be a relay, sensor or even the PCM. The critical thing to know is, when the stalled condition exists, what is missing. Fuel pressure, spark, injector pulse, or a combination of any of the three. Hope this helps in some small way.
