When I use the selector switch to change from defrost to defrost/feet or to any other selection, the venting system doesn't change to the desired setting- The fan works on all 4 settings- I'm not sure if this is an electronic function or vacuum- or what the problem may be-

Thanks for your consideration-

Stuck on defrost? check under the hood for the small vacuum line that goes from engine through firewall to interior. Probably broken somewhere. Defrost is the default setting when no source vacuum is there

You have a vacuum leak, open the hood and look for the thin black vac line that goes into the firwall, this supplies the control head with vacuum, Does it change positions when truck is at idle? You may need to check the vac reservoir tank under the air filter.

If you find no leak, the selector function switch must be replaced.
