2004 Ford Ranger running ruff at higher rpms

it starts on the 1st time every time but when driven it will stall and if i let it sit for about 5 min. or so it will start and i can drive it. also while idle it will reach 3000rpms and start missing. i have replaced the fuel pump and the spark plug wires and also added fuel enjector cleaner to a tank full of gas. what else can i check. so far this has cost me over 500.00 and im really now wanting to spend alot more thank you for your help

Has the check engine light come on? It sounds like a throttle positions sensor. Let me know. Also, have you checked for vacuum leaks?
