Transmission problem
2004 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 71k miles

2004 Ranger 4x4 edge, No codes or CEL.
I have this issue that happens at high rpm shift or passing gear. When the Auto trans shifts at high rpm the batter indicator Flickers and I notice a shutter of shifting like the trans is not sure it should shift or not. The not shifting I understand as being a possible bad valve body O-ring, but the flickering battery indicator has me boggled.
One thought was the Alt is starting to go, low volt under high demand?
Any ideas?
