I have a 2003 ford ranger with 4 cyc. 2.3 engine went I go in to 4 to 5 gear the truck shake and hesitate and speed 50 to 70??

my truck did that and it would shake the whole cab between 30 and 50 i replaced my universal joint and it cleared right up i am pretty sure that is the problem
