The transmission shifter vibrates like crazy at lower speed (30-40 mph) when in third gear and check engine light comes on. If I down shift to 2nd gear it does not vibrate as bad and runs smoother. At higher speed +50mph I do not notice the vibrating of the transmission shifter and engine seems to run good, but if I have to slow down it starts vibrating again and once I down shift it seems to get better, but it still is not right (engine seems to run rough). Should I check the fuel pump? I replaced the fuel filter not too long ago. I don't have a code reader to see what the computer error code is.

I went to Advanced Auto Parts and they hooked up a code reader to my truck. It said misfire on #1 and #3 cylinders. I have never done a tune up so I bought 4 new spark plugs. They have to order the spark plug wires. I have not put them in yet. I'll let you know if that fixed it.
