2003 Ford Ranger power door lock"s & power mirror

It's when any of the power window, power mirror switches are pushed the relay under the dash chatter's like crazy, plus the dome lite go's out, door chime quit's, so far this what I have done, I replaced the main window switches, R&R most of the relay's, I checked & cleaned all of the ground's under the hood, then I took a jumper wire direct from a 12v sorce to check the window motor's & they work, by by passing the switches, so can you help me, what am I missing? Oh yea I'd Love to donate, but been out of work for 7 month's now, and I understand your technicians are worth it, but I less than 5.oo bucks in my checking account. Chuck jones

Sounds like the GEM(generic electrinc module). I hate to say it, but if the GEM is bad, a code will be stored and accessible with a Ford capable scantool. The new module needs to be configured to the old one, so the old one stay in the car until the NGS tool reads the vehicles parameters, and writes this to the new one.
