I just bought a '03 Ford Ranger and it takes me about 25 minutes to put 12 gallons of gas in it! It constantly spits back tripping the automatic nozzles and spewing gas all over the side of the truck and my feet. I go soooooo slow, just barely pumping. I have tried many different pumps, angles with the nozzle, etc. All to no avail. I can only fuel when I have plenty of time as it is a long process. Anything above just barely pumping shuts the nozzle off. HELP!

Look under the truck at the filler tube. There is a smaller hose that runs along side of the fillter that is the breather. Check to see if it is damaged, or plugged. If it is, air can't escape from the tank as fuel is going in. As a result, it backs up in the filler neck.
