I have a 02 ranger that was making a sound like a turbo. SO I took it in and the shop said it was bad crank bearings. Has this happened to any one The Truck only has 35k on it and runs fine exept for the wooshing sound when the rpms go up.

Thank you for your comments

I took it back in and the mechanic said he could hear a slite rattle but it was faint. He said they where going to check the fan and pulleys and check for vac. leaks.

Thanks
