My 2002 4x4 Ranger has an unusual problem. When I accelerate from a dead stop, there is a thud feeling I get the moment I start moving. It also does this when I come to a complete stop. When im moving along and hit the gas harder it does not do it. There is really no other issues with the truck and the driveline seems to be fine otherwise. Someone mentioned to me some type of belt in the transfer case, but I really dont know what they were talking about.
