While driving down the interstate, my truck suddenly refused to go over 60mph. It idles VERY low, and in doing so, makes the entire truck shudder. Diagnostics showed a code that said my ignition coil was bad; so I replaced it, along with spark plugs and wires. The ignition coil code still shows up on the computer, and the problem still exists.

I would look at the compression and the engine ground that goes from the engine to the body. I would like to know what engine and firing system you have as there seems to be a conflict if it shuts down.

I found a good family connection through a dealership...they think its the engine control module...its around a $400 fix so I'm REALLY hoping thats not it.
