i have been having problems for about 2 weeks it takes 4 or 5 times to get it to start sometimes i have to give it some gas and hold it down a minute or so to get it to idle it trys to start but will not until i do this with the gas and then it will start ok until it sits all day or night i have changed the fuel filter and the coolent temperture sensor and this has not help at all and somtimes it will start after i try a couple of times. i have not had a tune up.the first time i remember having this problem was about a year ago and it only did this a couple of times what it did then was crank up and die a few times and would crank and run fine. what do you think is the problem and what can i do to fix it?

I would for sure check and do the tune up
check for vacuum leaks

check idle control valve (clean or replace )

good luck
