2002 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 100K miles

Just had my fuel pump replaced, drove @ 100 miles, commuting to work, failed again, mechanic replaced, again same failure. Any ideas?

my question will be are you sure its the fuel pump ?
check the relay and wiring and its connector
