2002 Ford Ranger

I have a new alernator, but the battery guage is flat and is still not charging. Not getting power to the engine....why?

Check, charge, replace battery, as needed
start and check battery volts
if under 13 volts check the fuses check alternator wiring and connectors

need manual CHECK IT @
