2001 Ford Ranger ECM relay cuts out

Working on this ranger, the ECM relay gets extremely hot then will kick out, causing the truck to die. This circuit feeds the A/C clutch relay, fuel pump relay, evap canister, fuse 41 (20amp evap vent) injectors splices to feed the MAF and the IAC, then feeds the ECM power (split into two). Any idea what could becausing the draw to heat the ECM relaly and not blow the fuse but cause the relay to open??

Maybe poor ground to relay check G108 located left side radiator upper support.

Also Fuse # 7 in battery junction box woulde blow not 41
