leakage inside trans bellhousing. Have removed trans and need to remove hydraulic unit inside bellhousing. leakage is from rubber boot sitting on pilot shaft. How do you remove hydraulic fluid line. From firewall or at trans & how?

Where the line plugs into the slave cylinder (bellhousing) is a small ring that you push into the fitting to release it (actually on line from master)
