I have found the problem . If you look under your truck were the driver seat is there is a wiring cable coming out of the floor.You will see a bolt take 10mm socket and ratchet and disconnect the cable you might find water in the connector blow all the water out and check to see if any pins missing before you buy a sensor PS disconnect the battery frist
That is a bad setup
