Pulling a trailer(1700 Lbs max) up a hill & heard a boom. Engine still runs normal right now. Nervous about trip this weekend.

just do a code read to see if anything is amiss, it just may of been a back fire, if codes are OK, and if it drives and preforms OK, there is not much more you can do.
