2000 Ford Ranger V6 Two Wheel Drive Manual 150000 miles

After shifting into first gear and moving forward into an intersection the clutch seemed to disengage. The clutch pedal works normal, feels normal, shifts easily into any gear, but the pickup will not move forward or backward. There are no odd noises, seems simply not engaging.

Sounds like the clutch is slipping if it revs up and not picking up speed immediately-

Would think so also, but the clutch worked great, well within normal range, then nothing when shifting easy into 2nd gear during a turn. It felt like the clutch just let go -- no griding or shrap noise, all seems normal except no power to the drivetrain.
