My daughter has a ranger PU 4WD she is hard on it at the farm. It seems to have lost 2nd gear it still drives ok if your foot is taken off the gas and you wind out first gear. Is there a simple fix for this or do I need to install a rebiult trans. It will jump from first to third somehow checked the fluid its not burned but I have not droped the pan yet mostly for fear of finding gear parts in the filter. Is this a common problem with these transmissions?????
