1999 Ford Ranger wont charge

replaced alt-the old 1 went out-now it wont charge at all-wondering if there is a fuse or fuse link i need to check/change-an if so where would the fuse be or the link-i dont have the owners manuel

Inspect and test wiring for shorts/open also check all the fuses-see below
