My Ranger will vibrate from 0 - 40 mph. The vibration is less noisy after 40 mph area. Checked the front end on a hoist. There is some "play" on the wheels when steering wheel held firmly. Will replacing the steering column resolve the vibration ?

How safe is driving the truck prior to part replacement ?

Thanks -
