Transmission problem
1999 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Automatic 205000 miles

my truck wont go when i put it in drive. yesterday the brake light came on and after fidd;in with the e-brake it went off. the next day went to leave and the truck wont go forward when i put it in drive. it feels like the e-brake is on but it does go in reverse just not very good

Hi put your truck in neutral on level ground and try and push it if you can move it park brake is free and you have a trans prob. if not cable is stuck. needs released
