I hear a screeching noise when I turn my wheel and when I drive over a bump. It is not a winding noise like a powering steering pump but I did check the fluid to eliminate that anyway.

The noise kind of sounds like a "rusty spring" type of sound. Any ideas?

Thanks

It could be a dry ball joint, sway bar bushing, control arm bushing. Are the ball joints greasable? Also, check all of the rubber bushings under the front to see if they are in good condition includint the shock mounts.

Let me know what you find.
