1999 Ford Ranger head bolt torqueing

I am changing the head gasket on m 99 ford ranger 3.0 v6. I have a haynes manual wich gives the torque values but it doesn't specify if there is an order in wich they have to be tightened. Does any one know if they have to be tightened in a specific order.

1999-2000 (Ranger) Step 1...............37 (50) Step 2...............Loosen One Full Turn Step 3...............22 (30) Step 4...............Additional 90 Degrees Step 5...............Additional 90 Degrees
